Angela Sun

Angela Sun, an American journalist, television sportscaster and documentary filmmaker. She was born on the 19th of October, 1979 in the Santa Clara County of California Angela Sun is an Award-Winning Journalist Sportscaster Producer and Actor. She has a master's degree in sociology and communications at the University of California. Sun was a pro surfer and took part in a variety of pro-am competitions. This led her to receive sponsorship from major brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans, etc. Recognition through these events was like rocket fuel which prompted her to enter the industry of entertainment. Later she worked as an actress, sportscaster, investigative journalist, and film-director. Sun has been employed by a variety of news networks, mostly as anchor. She was a reporter in 2003 as reporter on Fox Sports Net. The show she hosted in 2012 was American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. Sun was the first Asian American to have her name featured in ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun's acting abilities have gained her the attention of her peers. She has appeared in many films including Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). In 2014, Sun came out with Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch a full-length documentary on the effects of trash in the oceans and how it affects the environment which she wrote she directed and wrote.
