Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning show At This Hour. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's coverage on both the presidential and 2012 elections. Bolduan worked as a Washington DC-based congressional correspondent covering activities in the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional events, such as the negotiations for raising the federal debt ceiling and super committee discussions. In addition, Bolduan was a general assignment correspondent and reported on topics such as that of the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision concerning Obamacare as well as the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus plan. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007. She was an CNN Newsource national correspondent, covering breaking news as well as feature reports to over 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations.
