Ellie Goulding
The singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 in Hereford England) is an English singer-songwriter from England. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in the year 2010 when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed received a lot of attention from the media. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack for composing catchy yet emotionally earnest tracks, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap has a place at the cutting edge of contemporary mainstream music and arty, independent-minded pop.Goulding soon graduated from blogs to print media, receiving praise from mainstream publications like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. Polydor Records offered her a deal with major label. She started to plan for the release.
